A start-up company approached Q+H to brand their new independent coffee shop. They needed help defining the direction of the brand, from naming & logo design, to interiors, packaging, clothing and signage.
As a small coffee shop there was a need to create an identity which would welcome in and attract a wide range of customers – ensuring the brand stood out amongst competitor cafés and delis in the local area. Inspired by the growing UK coffee culture, we used a minimal colour palette, hand-drawn type and a series of illustrations to create a style that is both friendly and modern in it’s approach.
Designing with the future in mind, we created a toolkit for the brand which will allow it to adapt and grow as the business expands. The branding ultimately reflects the eclectic personality of the coffee shop, and from what we hear business is booming!
